A UNIQUE pop up wildfood restaurant on the top floor of The Quay on Friday and Saturday nights.
Open on Friday and Saturday evenings from 6pm to 11pm, the restaurant offers beautiful "wild food" dishes devised by Michelin trained chef, Carl Shillingford.
In a relaxed and intimate environment you can expect large starter sized dishes such as Wild Boar, Venison and classic Highland Steak as well as inventive vegetarian fayre like "White Cloud" salad and Seagrass Sushi. All of the seasonal dishes are prepared with foraged foods collected by the chef along with locally sourced ingredients, turned into wondrous dishes, sauces and accompaniments.
At £5.00 - £8.00 a dish, you are free to try as many courses as you wish without spending a fortune…
Board menus have 3 meat, 3 fish, 3 vegetarian and 3 dessert options and wine by the bottle is specially picked to compliment each course. Bar drinks are also available. The menu changes to accomodate seasonal ingredients and coastal catches for the fish courses to keep everything as fresh as possible. The menu changes every third week.
